The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following-
Dinah Louise Baity, 66, of Ogema, for DUI in the fourth degree, driving while impaired.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following call on 6/24/2024 –
At 7:28 a.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of Johnson Place for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated with gas monitoring tools, and it was found that the detector was at the end of its life. The resident contacted maintenance staff to replace the detector. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 9:53 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.
