The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Lena Lorraine Sawyer, 39 of East Grand Forks, for malicious punishment of a child
Joshua Zeni Sotzsky, 40 of McIntosh, for failure to appear, convicted of gross misdemeanor
Troy Allen Faughn, 39 of Bemidji, for First degree DUI.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 7/16/2024 –
At 8:45 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm panel and then cleared the scene.
