Crow Wing County (trfnews.i234.me)—A serious crash occurred on April 2, 2025, at 15:12 on Highway 210 near County Road 59, in Irondale Township, Crow Wing County. A 2018 Uhaul cargo van, towing a Dodge Avenger, was traveling westbound on Highway 210 when it lost control due to snowy and icy road conditions. The Uhaul swerved into the path of an eastbound 2018 Chevy Traverse, striking it.
The driver of the Chevy Traverse, Therese Marie Norwood, 54, of Ironton, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center – Crosby for treatment. Norwood was wearing her seat belt, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
The Uhaul cargo van, driven by Brianna Lynn Vanvickle, 25, of Gilbert, MN, and her passenger, Lawrence Nelson Sheppo, 25, of Virginia, MN, were uninjured. Both the driver and passenger were wearing their seat belts.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident and managed the scene, ensuring that emergency services were promptly dispatched.
