Two Harbors Unorganized, Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash occurred on April 12, 2025, at approximately 13:37 on Highway 61 at Stanley Road in Two Harbors Unorganized, Lake County. An 85-year-old driver, Ronald James Studier, was traveling northbound in a 2025 Ford Edge when the vehicle left the roadway, driving in the median ditch for about 100 yards. The car then crossed over a U-turn area, struck several road signs, and came to a stop facing north in the median.
Studier, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Lake View Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, no alcohol was involved, and the road conditions were dry at the time of the incident. Emergency responders from Two Harbors PD, Lake County Ambulance, and Fire assisted at the scene.
