I have a mustang, hes 25. He came off the Steens mountain in SE oregon. Hes my buddy. BUT. Horses are horribly destructive on the landscape. And they are not native to the environment. It's like everything else in life, too much can be bad. We can certainly have some horses, but they need to be strictly controlled. They have zero significant predators to control their population. You cant manage wildlife with emotion.
