Concurrent Occurrence of George Floyd Trial and Minnesota High School Tournaments

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (trfnews.i234.me.COM) As officials talk about security plans for the upcoming George Floyd trial in Minneapolis, it should be noted it will be at the same time as scheduled high school tournaments in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
the city of minneapolis has been working for several months on a comprehensive public safety plan in preparation for the upcoming trial of former minneapolis police officer derek shovin and the death of george floyd minnesota police department chief madaria arredondo says time and communication have been keys to planning we’re very fortunate that we’ve had enough time to plan and try to go over those plans uh quite quite honestly over and over again so that we have the best plans that we can present to the mayor and other stakeholders other leaders to make sure that we’re doing all we can to ensure our city safety the jury selection for the trial is scheduled to begin the week of march 8 at the hennepin county government center in downtown minneapolis at the city’s request governor tim walls has activated the minnesota national guard to provide public safety assistance to minnesota and saint paul during the upcoming trials of the former officers involved in floyd’s death also a side note that same time state tournaments are supposed to be held and st paul and at the target at the the excel energy center for state hockey and also the target center in downtown minneapolis for state boys and girls basketball so stay tuned if those locations get changed with that hearing

  1. Crazy how COVID slowed down the court systems in the state.

    Itll be interesting to see how the trial plays out. With how much of a circus it's been in the media it seems like a jury could swing wildly in any direction or even come back deadlocked.

  2. Google Fentanyl. It will give the user who overdoses a "wooden chest" which translates to mean the user CANNOT BREATH IN OR OUT resulting in labored breathing OR DEATH. Take that into account when you rush to judgement on the case. Not saying anything about guilt or innocence.
