Swift County (trfnews.i234.me)—A collision occurred on April 4, 2025, at 13:00 on US Hwy 59 near 210th Ave SW, in Appleton Township, Swift County. A 2009 Honda Ridgeline, driven by Zachary Todd Tubbs, 31, of Appleton, MN, collided with a 2015 Nissan Rogue, driven by Violet Aurora Jones, 40, of Montevideo, MN, while both vehicles were northbound on the highway.
Fortunately, Tubbs, the driver of the Honda Ridgeline, was uninjured and did not require medical treatment. However, Jones, the driver of the Nissan Rogue, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Appleton Hospital for treatment. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
The road conditions were dry at the time of the collision, and Swift County Sheriff’s Office, Appleton Police Department, and Appleton Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene to assist.
