Stearns County (trfnews.i234.me)—A serious collision occurred on March 31, 2025, at 6:30 AM on Highway 71 at Greencrest Rd., in Crow River Township, Stearns County. According to reports, a 2022 GMC Canyon, driven by Theresa Lynn Sandvig, 51, of Belgrade, MN, was traveling northbound when it collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Brian Joseph Rademacher, 29, also from Belgrade. Both vehicles were heading in opposite directions when the crash occurred.
In addition to the two passenger vehicles, a 2019 International Tractor, driven by Ronald Lynn Robinson, 65, of Belgrade, was also involved. Fortunately, Robinson, the driver of the semi, was unharmed, but both drivers of the passenger vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Sandvig was transported to Paynesville Hospital, while Rademacher was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital. Both were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not involved.
The road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, and emergency responders from Brooten Belgrade Police, Belgrade Fire and Rescue, and CentraCare were on the scene to assist.
