Chippewa Falls Township, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — A two-vehicle collision occurred on February 27, 2025, at 7:55 AM at the intersection of 265th Street and County Road 23 in Pope County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling westbound on 265th Street, while a 2021 Chrysler Voyager was traveling northbound on County Road 23 when the two vehicles collided on snow-and-ice-covered roads.
The driver of the Chrysler Voyager, 58-year-old Steven Orlin Klug of Osakis, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Glacial Ridge Health System.
Two passengers in the Voyager, 19-year-old Levi Ross Landmark and 11-year-old Ayden Scott Molnau, both of Glenwood, MN, were also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen Jetta was not injured.
All occupants were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The Pope County Sheriff’s Office and Glacial Ridge Ambulance responded to the scene.
