LENGBY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Monday afternoon, Merlin Olson of Lengby, Minnesota, experienced a close call when a train struck the back of his road grader. Olson, who owns and operates the grader for contracts with two townships, was crossing the tracks at a blind curve without warning lights. The train nicked the back of his grader, pushing it sideways. Fortunately, the grader sustained minimal damage. Olson, however, was taken to the hospital as a precaution due to elevated blood pressure from the scare. He reports being fine now and is relieved that the incident did not cause serious harm.
