Carlton County (trfnews.i234.me) A Cloquet, Minnesota, couple has been charged with multiple felony counts of criminal sexual conduct following allegations of prolonged sexual abuse of a juvenile girl.
According to court documents, 42-year-old Roger Eugene Collins Jr. is charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for alleged repeated sexual acts with a juvenile girl between September 2021 and August 2024. His partner, 37-year-old Laura Anne Leimer, faces charges of aiding and abetting first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly participating in the abuse between August 2022 and August 2023.
The criminal complaint indicates that the child victim had not received medical or dental care for years. Both Collins and Leimer are currently held in the St. Louis County Jail. Collins was booked on April 14, 2025, and Leimer on April 14, 2025. Collins is being held without bail, while Leimer’s bail is set at $750,000.
