CLEARBROOK (trfnews.i234.me) — It appears Joshua David Tollefson of Leonard, Minnesota just wanted to stay warm—but it’s landed him in hot legal water.
According to court documents, on March 22, a reporting party discovered Tollefson locked inside a Clearbrook home that belonged to one of his relatives. The homeowner was away receiving medical care. When the witnesses arrived, they found the house overheated far beyond normal, raising suspicions.
Tollefson declined to make a statement to authorities. Nevertheless, he is now facing charges of:
-
Felony burglary
-
Misdemeanor trespass
The incident raises concerns about unauthorized access to homes, even among family members, especially when the occupant is vulnerable or away for medical reasons.
