Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 55-year-old woman, Lynette Lynn Swanson, has been taken into custody by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly fleeing law enforcement officers twice in a motor vehicle on March 28, 2025, according to jail booking records.
The charges list two counts of:
-
Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle
The back-to-back charges raise serious questions about the circumstances surrounding the arrests. Details have yet to be released about whether the two incidents were separate attempts or part of a prolonged pursuit. Regardless, fleeing law enforcement in a motor vehicle is a felony in Minnesota and carries harsh penalties—including potential prison time.
Swanson remains in custody as her case moves forward in the Clay County judicial system.
