Clay County: Richard Boyd Harrington Arrested for Property Damage, Theft & Possessing Burglary Tools

Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Richard Boyd Harrington, age 70, was arrested on March 6, 2025, by the Dilworth Police Department on multiple misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges.

Charges filed:

  • 4th Degree Damage to Property – Intentional Damage (Other Circumstances)

  • Disorderly Conduct – Offensive/Abusive/Noisy/Obscene Behavior

  • Possession of Burglary Tools

  • Theft – Take/Use/Transfer Movable Property Without Consent – Under $500

Authorities allege that Harrington caused property damage, acted disorderly in public, and was found with burglary tools while committing a theft valued at less than $500.

He remains in custody pending his initial court hearing.
