Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Clay County man is facing a long list of charges after a late-night disaster involving booze, speed, and a revoked license.

Grant William Goodsell, age 34, was arrested by the Minnesota Highway Patrol just before 4:00 a.m. on March 28, 2025. The list of charges reads like a how-not-to guide for any driver:

  • 2nd Degree DWI with two or more aggravating factors

  • DWI with a BAC over 0.08

  • Driving After Revocation

  • Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle

  • Expired Plates & Failure to Display Current Registration

Authorities say Goodsell not only drove drunk but attempted to flee from law enforcement despite already having a revoked license and expired registration. The situation quickly escalated and ended with his arrest. If convicted, he faces serious jail time, fines, and extended license loss.
