Clay County — Man Accused of Dual Theft & Fleeing Police in Dilworth and Moorhead

Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 26-year-old man, Alexander Dean Wilkie Priest, is behind bars following a string of alleged offenses across multiple jurisdictions in Clay County.

According to records:

  • Dilworth Police booked Wilkie Priest for:

    • Theft of Property valued between $501 and $1,000

    • Theft of Property exceeding $1,000

  • Moorhead Police later added charges of:

    • Fleeing a Peace Officer (Not in a Vehicle)

    • Possession/Receiving Stolen Property

Authorities say Wilkie Priest is accused of stealing items worth thousands and then attempting to evade capture on foot. He now faces serious charges that could lead to felony convictions depending on prior history and court proceedings.

He remains in custody as the investigation unfolds.
