Clay County: Juan Manuel Herrera Arrested for Major Narcotics Trafficking Involving Heroin, Fentanyl & Cocaine

Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Juan Manuel Herrera, age 59, was arrested on March 17, 2025, at 5:09 PM by the Moorhead Police Department following a narcotics investigation.

Charges filed:

  • 1st Degree Controlled Substance Possession – 25g or More / 100+ Dosage Units Heroin or Fentanyl

  • 1st Degree Controlled Substance Sale – 10g or More / 40+ Dosage Units Heroin or Fentanyl

  • 1st Degree Controlled Substance Sale – Cocaine/Heroin/Methamphetamine

  • 2nd Degree Controlled Substance Possession – Cocaine/Methamphetamine

Authorities allege Herrera was involved in large-scale trafficking of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine. The charges reflect quantities far exceeding felony thresholds under Minnesota law.

Herrera is currently held in Clay County custody pending court proceedings.
