Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Garlee Banda Sumo, born July 29, 1998, has been classified as a wanted fugitive by the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) as of March 17, 2025.
Sumo, previously convicted of criminal sexual conduct in Clay County under court file number 14-CR-18-2356, was sentenced on October 9, 2019, and was most recently released on September 17, 2024.
Following a violation of release conditions, Sumo is now the focus of an active statewide search.
The case is being supervised by DOC Agent Brad Berce. Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
