Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Elizabeth Lara Ayala Aguilar, age 40, was arrested by the Minnesota Highway Patrol on March 18, 2025, at approximately 3:18 PM.

Ayala Aguilar has been charged with 5th Degree Controlled Substance Possession, which includes the possession of Schedule I, II, III, or IV substances or drug paraphernalia (excluding cannabis or hemp).

The arrest followed a routine traffic stop where authorities discovered evidence of a controlled substance violation.

Ayala Aguilar remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
