Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — In a dramatic late-night arrest, Emmanual Xavier Kennedy, age 34, was taken into custody by Moorhead Police just after midnight on March 27, 2025. Authorities have charged Kennedy with First-Degree Aggravated Controlled Substance Crime involving two aggravating factors, as well as Fifth-Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Adding to the gravity of the arrest, Kennedy was also caught carrying a BB gun, rifle, shotgun, or assault weapon in public, in violation of state law. The combination of serious drug charges and weapon possession suggests a high-risk situation, though further details about the arrest or the location have not yet been made public.
Kennedy now faces multiple felonies and could be looking at serious prison time if convicted on all counts.
We’ll continue following this case as it develops.
