Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — Abdirahman Mohamed Abdi, age 41, was arrested on November 5, 2024, by the Moorhead Police Department following serious felony charges linked to an armed burglary and assault.

According to police, Abdi faces the following charges:

  • 1st Degree Burglary – Commit Assault

  • 1st Degree Burglary – Possess Dangerous Weapon

  • 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

  • 5th Degree Controlled Substance Possession – Schedule 1, 2, 3, 4 (Non-Small Amount Marijuana)

Abdi was booked at 4:53 AM, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Moorhead authorities emphasize that this arrest stems from a potentially violent encounter where a dangerous weapon was involved.
