Clay Co. SWAT Arrests Fargo Man in Shooting Case
CLAY COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – Moorhead Police say a Fargo man wanted in connection to a September 17 shooting has been arrested. Authorities confirmed the arrest took place on September 26 in the 1400 block of 20th Street South.
According to investigators, the Metro Street Crimes Unit identified an apartment where 35-year-old Dennis Salinas Jr. was believed to be. Due to his criminal history and outstanding warrants, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was called in to assist. Officers safely arrested Salinas without incident.
Along with Salinas, 20-year-old Andrew Collison and 27-year-old Heather Badar were also taken into custody. Police note that their arrests were not connected to the September 17 shooting. All three individuals are currently being held at the Clay County Jail.
This development comes just days after Fargo Police arrested Branden Poitra on September 23 for his alleged role in the same shooting incident. Investigators continue to piece together details surrounding the case.
