Civilian Harmed During High-Speed Chase In Duluth, MN

DULUTH, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A civilian was injured during the pursuit of a dangerous criminal in Duluth, Minnesota.
this in from Duluth Police Department today the Lake Superior violent offender task force received information on the location of Eric John Lund who has warrants for first degree burglary third degree assault felony domestic assault and a violation of supervised release warrant for third degree assault Task Force personnel located Lund in the 6800 block of Westgate Boulevard and attempted to take him into custody Lund made statements to the Task Force personnel that he would not go willingly entered his vehicle and rammed into a task force vehicle he continued to flee at a high rate of speed and crashed into a vehicle traveling on Cody Street totaling both vehicles the driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries but most likely has a broken leg Lund proceeded to flee on foot from the crash through the woods and was apprehended by Duluth Police Department patrol officer nearby he will be held on his warrants with a number of charges to be added after the completion of the investigation excellent work by everyone to take a violent offender into custody prior to him injuring or killing many other members of the community the Duluth Police Department’s thoughts go out to the innocent driver who was injured in this incident Gene Nelson reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
