PEMBINA COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me)—A serious crash northwest of Cavalier on Monday evening resulted in one child being life-flighted to a higher care hospital. According to Pembina County Sheriff Terry Minger, the incident occurred at the intersection of County Road 1 and 133rd Avenue.

The crash involved a van driven by a mother who was hauling six children. Another vehicle reportedly blew through a yield sign and collided with the van. Sheriff Minger confirmed that no alcohol was involved in the crash, but the collision was severe enough to require advanced medical care for one of the children.
