WEST FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) – A student at Cheney Middle School was arrested after making two threats against the school on social media, according to Principal Amber Rudolph. The student admitted to posting the threats on both Friday and Sunday and has since been charged with terrorizing.

Although the student reportedly did not have the means to carry out the threats, authorities are taking the matter seriously. The student will face prosecution and disciplinary action from the school district.

In response, the school district is urging parents to use this incident as an opportunity to teach their children about responsible social media use. They emphasize that middle school students need guidance in making good decisions and understanding the serious consequences of violent threats, even if made in jest.
