Charges Filed Following High-Speed Chase

BENSON COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Formal charges have now been filed, following a high speed pursuit from St. Michael into Devils Lake, North Dakota last Friday.
25 year old lars hinton of devils lake has now been formally charged following a high speed pursuit on friday hinton has been charged with felonies of fleeing a peace officer reckless endangerment and theft of property the benson county sheriff’s department says it started friday at 7 01 pm when they received a report of a stolen vehicle traveling on highway 20 near st michael the vehicle was reported to have been stolen out of devils lake within the last 24 hours benson county sheriff’s office deputies located and attempted to stop the vehicle and it fled from st michael into devil’s lake at speeds over 100 miles per hour while traveling into devils lake and highway 20 devils like police department ramsey county sheriff’s office were able to deploy spike strips tire deflation devices to deflate two of the four vehicle tires the vehicle then left the roadway near the intersection of highway 20 and highway 2 near pizza ranch where it became stuck hinton allegedly attempted to flee on foot but was taken into custody by the benson county sheriff’s deputies and a canine i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv
