Charges Filed Against Suspects Involved in Sunday Incident in Argyle, Minnesota

ARGYLE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Two suspects in an early Sunday morning incident in Argyle have been formally charged in Marshall County District Court.
The incident was originally reported as shots fired, but law enforcement found no evidence of that. Jesus Herrera and Reynaldo Martinez have been charged with 1st Degree Burglary.
we have more details regarding a report of shots fired in argyle early sunday morning on this tuesday morning 39 year old jesus herrara of edinburgh texas and 27 year old ronaldo martinez of argyll have both appeared in marshall county court on a charge of felony first degree burglary now according to the criminal complaint here’s what happened the names of the witnesses and or victims have been deleted uh the complaint does not list a specific address from the criminal complaint quote on february 14th at approximately 1 37 a.m a deputy was on duty with the marshall county sheriff’s office and responded to argyle regarding a report of people fighting in the street a witness reported to marshall county dispatch that they heard gunshots across the street from the house the witness looked out her window and saw a group of roughly eight people and some were armed with large knives the witness believes they also heard four to five gunshots but was not positive the deputy arrived on the scene and was met by a witness in front of a residence the witness stated that the defendants and other people were now in the house the deputy asked if there was a gun in the house and the witness stated there are no weapons the deputy entered the residence and was informed that the defendants ronaldo martinez and jesus arara kicked in the front door of the occupied residence and proceeded into the residence with the intent to assault the occupants uh one of the defendants martinez was taken to altru in grand forks for his injuries he received from the occupants of the residents that he forcefully entered that was from the criminal complaint however court documents do not spell out what may have motivated this alleged incident the charge of first degree a burglary against martinez and herrera is a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
