Here’s me with Jay Leno back in 1992, just before he took over as the host of “The Tonight Show.” He was in Grand Forks, and I spent the afternoon driving around town with him. Right before his performance at the Chester Fritz Auditorium, he looked at me, smiled, yawned, and said, “Oh, another 90 minutes, another $20,000.”
