CAVALIER, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The Municipal Judge for Cavalier, North Dakota, Scott Holmquist has plead guilty to 2 Misdemeanor charges of Contributing to the Deprivation of Delinquency of a Minor and Violation of Protection of Big Game Animals.
the municipal judge for the city of cavalier north dakota scott holmquist is in hot water under a plea agreement he pled guilty to two class a misdemeanor charges of contributing to the deprivation or delinquency of a minor and a charge of a violation of protection of big game animals a third charge of aiding and concealment of game unlawfully taken or possessed was dismissed in november of 2020 according to court documents he encouraged a minor in the illegal taking of a white-tailed buck when the miner didn’t have a tag holmquist told the miner he could use a tag belonging to other individuals he also told the miner not to post any of what happened on social media a judge sentenced holmquist to 360 days jail suspended on both of the charges he won’t serve any jail time if he’s law abiding for the next year the sentence also includes one year of unsupervised probation loss of hunting fishing and trapping privileges for one year and holmquist has to participate in a safety type of presentation to youth educating them about his experience i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
