CAUGHT: Grand Forks Scooter Robber

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A man suspected of stealing an electric scooter on South Washington Street Tuesday morning is now behind bars. Grand Forks Police reported that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Ronald F. Vondall Nelson, was spotted near Orton’s gas station on the 2000 block of South Washington on Thursday afternoon. When an officer approached, Nelson attempted to flee on foot, leading to a brief chase around the gas station. He was eventually apprehended without further incident behind Skip’s Budget Drug. Nelson now faces multiple charges, including robbery, resisting arrest, refusal to halt, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
