Chelsea jth asleson of Devil’s Lake is facing criminal charges after allegedly beating a cat to death and assaulting her mother according to criminal charges on October 31st uh she intentionally engaged in animal cruelty by repeatedly slamming a young cat against the floor uh the defendant repeatedly inflicted trauma on the cat causing its bones to break its head and skull to become mutilated and event causing its death while beating the cat to death the defendant repeatedly asked why are you making me do this the cat was found deceased on the floor with a wound and blood from coming from its head consistent with head trauma also on October 31st uh she allegedly willfully caused bodily injury to her mother by striking her in the head and knocking her glasses off uh causing her to feel pain uh the victim had a red contusion on the top of her head uh Chelsea asleson has been charged with felony animal cruelty and misdemeanor domestic assault I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
