What prosecutors allege
According to a criminal complaint, Quint Kyle Ironnecklace was found in a vehicle in a snowbank. The report says it happened on February 8, 2026, in rural Cass Lake.
A sheriff’s deputy arrived after a call about an intoxicated man. The complaint says the vehicle sat at the end of a driveway. The driver’s door was open, the report says.
Ironnecklace told the deputy he slid due to icy roads. He said it happens often, the complaint says. The deputy reported a strong odor of alcohol.
Test results described in court filing
The complaint says Ironnecklace showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests. A preliminary breath test read 0.164, according to the filing.
He was taken to the Cass County Detention Center, the complaint says. The breath test advisory was read there. The filing says he tried calling an attorney first.
After the calls, the complaint says he agreed to a breath test. The DataMaster test recorded 0.14, the complaint states.
