BECKER COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a peculiar incident in Lake View Township, Becker County, Minnesota, James L. Tejohn of Cass Lake has been arrested and charged with multiple crimes. On August 18th, a woman reported that an unknown man entered her home, claiming he was there to check on her. The man, later identified as Tejohn, proceeded to rummage through her garage, went through her car, climbed into the attic, and ultimately took off with a bicycle.
Deputies later spotted Tejohn near a roundabout south of Detroit Lakes, where he was arrested. Nearby, officers found an ATV that had been stolen, which Tejohn admitted to taking, stating, “the keys were in the ATV, so I jumped on it and took off.” Tejohn is now facing felony theft charges for the ATV and misdemeanor burglary charges related to the bicycle theft.
