Cass Lake (trfnews.i234.me) — Officials are investigating after a fire destroyed a business building Thursday night on the south side of Cass Lake.
Fire Broke Out Late Thursday
Authorities said deputies responded at about 10:45 p.m. They found the kiln drying and storage building at Timberlyne Wood Products fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews from the Cass Lake, Bemidji, and Walker fire departments worked through the night. They battled heavy fire and tried to keep it from spreading.
Building Is a Total Loss
Officials said the building was destroyed. No injuries were reported. That was a key relief in a dangerous overnight fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting.
