Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – A deadly tornado tore through rural Enderlin, North Dakota, Friday night, leaving three people dead and several homes completely obliterated.
Ring doorbell footage captured the terrifying moment the storm rolled in just east of Enderlin as tornado sirens wailed. The storm hit just before midnight and left devastation in its wake.
Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jonner said deputies responded to a home east of town around 11:40 p.m. after reports that its roof had been torn off. The residents were shaken but alive.
However, storm chasers nearby alerted authorities to another home just east that had been completely destroyed. Deputies arrived to find two adults — one male and one female — deceased in the wreckage.
Fire crews following the tornado’s path to the north then discovered a third victim, another male, who had also perished.
In total, officials estimate around 10 homes or farmsteads sustained significant damage from the storm.
