Cass County: Three-Vehicle Crash In West Fargo

CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — We have more details about a three-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night in West Fargo, North Dakota.

According to the West Fargo Police Department, officers responded around 9:58 p.m. to the 3600 block of Veterans Boulevard. When they arrived, they discovered a crash involving three vehicles.

Investigators say the first vehicle did not have its lights on and ran a red light. It struck a second vehicle, which was then pushed into a third vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle suffered significant injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. People in the second and third vehicles sustained only minor injuries.

Police say charges against the driver of the first vehicle will be sent to the city prosecutor’s office for review and possible filing. The department also confirmed there were no gunshots connected to this incident. Earlier social media reports suggesting gunfire were incorrect.

West Fargo’s Public Information Manager confirmed that the case remains under review and investigators are working to determine all contributing factors in the crash.

Residents are encouraged to follow official updates from the West Fargo Police Department for any new information related to this investigation.
