Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – A chaotic underage drinking party in rural Cass County turned violent on May 4, 2025, when 20-year-old Dylan Michael Crimmins of Pillager allegedly stabbed a teen identified as “AAL” during a series of escalating fights.
According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement was dispatched shortly after midnight to a report of a stabbing. Witnesses stated Crimmins admitted to stabbing someone, and the victim was later airlifted to a St. Paul hospital.
Crimmins, reportedly highly intoxicated, claimed he accidentally stabbed AAL while trying to break up a fight involving a friend. However, multiple witnesses—including video evidence—suggest Crimmins intentionally used a pocket knife in the assault.
AAL and others confirmed the victim was only trying to break up a brawl and was not involved in fighting. Crimmins is now charged with 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and 2nd Degree Riot with a Weapon, both felonies.
Crimmins has a prior conviction for 5th-degree assault and is currently on probation for 3rd-degree felony assault. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

My son is AAL and 20 yes old is not a Teen…. he was an Adult who stabbed a kid/teen and traumatized many teens that night trying to hold my son’s blood in his body. This man needs to be in prison to learn a lesson. I want my son and his friends to know if they did anything like this, they will be in prison and held accountable. If he gets away with just fines, not ok. We haven’t heard much an aren’t told much but want this never to happen again. My son has a huge heart and was only trying to help others. Was at this party (adults/teen party), for only 10 mins. He was recording, seen a friend needing help (3-1 brawl all on 1.), AAL put his phone away and pulled the guys off (not even DC, he came in out of no where between the 3 that were pulled off, smirked then stabbed my son). So just know DC is 20yrs, not a teen.
