This happens almost every year and is completely predictable. The fact the community remains unprepared and in chaos is a testament to the IQ of local govt and the community. First, you have to be an idiot to buy, build or live in the flood plane with soooo much area available that is always dry nearby. Knock it off. Second, to remain unprepared for the spring melt flood after refusing to abandon living in the flood plane is just plain irresponsible. This isn’t news, it’s stupidity.
