Cass County: Man Stabbed Multiple Times In Cass Lake
CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — We now have more details regarding a Saturday morning stabbing in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call at 2:24 a.m. Saturday. The report came from the area of 925 Grant Utley Avenue Southwest in Cass Lake. When deputies arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been stabbed several times.
The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to the Cass Lake Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later flown by helicopter to a Fargo hospital for additional care. Officials described his injuries as serious but not life-threatening.
Investigators say initial information from the victim and a witness was inconsistent. Deputies continue to gather details to determine what led up to the assault and who was involved. No arrests have been reported at this time.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about the stabbing to contact their department. The investigation remains active.
