CASS COUNTY: Man Found Wearing Homeowner’s Clothes After Alleged Break-In

West Fargo (trfnews.i234.me)On May 5, 2025, Ezra Desjarlais was arrested and charged with felony criminal trespass and unlawful entry into a vehicle following an unusual incident in West Fargo.

According to court documents, a homeowner discovered Desjarlais inside his residence, wearing the homeowner’s clothes and in possession of items taken from a vehicle parked in the garage. Desjarlais appeared confused, and the homeowner did not feel threatened at the time. Desjarlais left the scene, and initially, the homeowner chose not to press charges. However, after reconsideration, the homeowner decided to pursue legal action.

Desjarlais was later located nearby, having crawled into a culvert. He was medically evaluated and cleared before being taken into custody. He now faces felony charges of criminal trespass and unlawful entry into a vehicle.
