CASS COUNTY MAN ARRESTED WITH METH IN WALLET, FACING THIRD DRUG CHARGE | trfnews.i234.me

Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Hackensack man is facing felony drug charges after a deputy found methamphetamine in his wallet during a warrant arrest.

According to court documents, on June 19, 2025, Cass County Deputy Kaleb Cherne responded to a report of an unauthorized vehicle near 24th Avenue in Hackensack. The vehicle—a Chevrolet Avalanche—was traced to Timothy Michael Gapinski, age 44.

Gapinski was located at his residence and arrested on outstanding warrants from both Cass and Becker Counties. During a booking search at the Cass County Detention Center, deputies found two micro baggies in his wallet, one of which contained a clear crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Gapinski now faces a felony fifth-degree drug possession charge, his third, with previous convictions in Pine County (2024) and Crow Wing County (2017).

He faces up to 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine due to his repeat offender status.
