Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – Authorities have identified Jay Barker as the suspect in a Friday afternoon bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank on Main Avenue in Fargo.
According to officials, Barker is currently being held at the Cass County Jail in Fargo pending a formal charge of robbery with a firearm or dangerous weapon.
Court records show Barker was previously convicted of a 2017 bank robbery in St. John, North Dakota. He also escaped from the Rolette County Jail following that conviction before being recaptured.
Additional details regarding the Fargo robbery are expected once formal charges are filed.
