Remer, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me)In the early hours of Sunday, April 27, 2025, a catastrophic fire ravaged a cherished local bar in Reamer Township, Cass County, Minnesota. At approximately 5:30 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire at 6691 State Highway 200 Northeast. Upon arrival, deputies and emergency responders found the establishment, known as “The Pub,” fully engulfed in flames.

Fire departments from Remer and Longville swiftly responded to the scene, working diligently to control the blaze. Despite their efforts, the fire resulted in significant loss, leaving the building in ruins. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with assistance from the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The destruction of “The Pub” has sent shockwaves through the tight-knit community of Remer. Known for its friendly atmosphere and as a gathering place for locals, the loss is deeply felt by residents and patrons alike.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward as investigations continue.
