Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — In a shocking turn of events in West Fargo, a routine traffic stop turned into a major drug bust. On the night of March 16th at 8:00 p.m., Fargo resident Ally B. Berger was pulled over for a turn signal violation. What seemed like a minor infraction quickly escalated when officers discovered that Berger had an outstanding warrant.
A K9 unit was called to the scene, and after a positive alert on the vehicle, authorities searched the car. Inside, they found baggies of fentanyl, cocaine, and a digital scale — items commonly associated with drug distribution.
As a result, Berger is now facing two felony charges for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine. She is also facing a misdemeanor for allegedly providing a false name to law enforcement during the incident.
This case adds to growing concerns about fentanyl-related arrests in Cass County, where law enforcement agencies continue to combat drug trafficking and distribution.
