CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — In a dramatic and emotional incident, Brandon Scott Vargas of Fargo is now facing serious charges after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.
According to court records, Vargas let himself in uninvited, tried to take her car keys, and then threw her to the ground before fleeing. Officers later found him near the 600 block of Broadway, where he struggled with police during the arrest.
The female victim told police, “I don’t want to get him in trouble,” but emotionally pleaded, “Just put the fear of God into him so he never comes back.” Authorities responded, stating that’s not how the system works.
Vargas is now officially charged with felony burglary.
