Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) — A Fargo man is facing multiple charges after a stolen vehicle pursuit that stretched across Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo early Tuesday morning.
Fargo Police say they received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of 36th Street South around 2:20 a.m. on July 30. An officer located the vehicle near 17th Avenue and 25th Street South and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled into Moorhead.
Moorhead Police spotted the vehicle and followed as it returned to Fargo, where Fargo officers continued monitoring before losing sight of it. West Fargo Police later located the vehicle near 45th Street and 32nd Avenue South and attempted another stop, but the driver did not comply.
Officers used a PIT maneuver to bring the pursuit to an end at 47th Street and 32nd Avenue South. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Leroy Manning of Fargo, was arrested.
Manning is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing a peace officer, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
