Cass County DUI Injury Crash: Silverado Collides with Parked Travel Trailer

Cass County, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On April 14, 2024, at 11:51 p.m. CT, an injury crash occurred on Interstate 29 northbound, near mile marker 56, approximately 4 miles south of Fargo. The incident involved a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and a parked 2007 Flagstaff MicroLite travel trailer.

Narrative: The Silverado, driven by Ian Snow of Fargo, ND, was traveling northbound when it drifted onto the shoulder and collided with the parked travel trailer. The collision caused the Silverado to come to rest in the east ditch, while the travel trailer ended up on the east shoulder, blocking both lanes with debris. Emergency crews, including the ND Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Horace Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance, responded to the scene. Snow, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries. Traffic was slowed for about an hour as crews cleared the debris and vehicles.

Charges: Snow, the Silverado driver, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, classified as a Class B Misdemeanor.
