Cass County: Armed Fugitive Apprehended After Downtown Fargo Gun Incident

Cass County (trfnews.i234.me)Daniel Scott, 28, of Fargo, was arrested following an early Sunday morning firearm-related disturbance in downtown Fargo. According to the Fargo Police Department, at approximately 12:42 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm at an establishment in the 50 block of Broadway North. Upon arrival, both the suspect and the victim had fled the scene. Later that morning, officers located the victim at a local hospital receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries; there was no evidence of a gunshot wound.

Through continued investigation, the Fargo Police Criminal Investigation Division, in collaboration with the Metro Street Crimes Unit, identified Daniel Scott as the suspect. He was located inside a South Fargo apartment at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and taken into custody without incident. Scott faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated reckless endangerment, felon in possession of a firearm, and violation of a protection order.
