Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Fargo police have identified two suspects in connection with a violent robbery and shooting that occurred Wednesday evening on the 1400 block of First Avenue South.

At 7:25 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at a residence. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim who had suffered serious injuries during the incident. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment. Police say the injuries, while serious, are not being described as life-threatening at this time.

Investigators have named Braden Poitra, 24, and Dennis Salinas Jr., 35, as suspects in the case. Both men are wanted in connection with the shooting and robbery. Authorities are actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating them.

Police stress that Poitra and Salinas Jr. should be considered armed and dangerous. Residents are strongly advised not to approach the suspects. Instead, anyone who sees them should immediately call 911. Officials ask the public to provide as much information as possible, including location, direction of travel, clothing description, and whether they are accompanied by others.
