Cass Co. Fargo Man Charged in Fatal Fentanyl Case
Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Fargo man is facing a felony charge after the fentanyl overdose death of another man earlier this year. Court records show Joshua Dylan Turkaly has been charged with drug trafficking in connection with the case.
According to investigators, 34-year-old Casey Irwin died on April 2, 2025, from a fentanyl overdose in Fargo. During interviews with detectives, Turkaly allegedly admitted to helping arrange the purchase of fentanyl through another individual who was the actual source of the drugs.
Prosecutors have charged Turkaly with a class B felony for delivery of a controlled substance, specifically fentanyl. Under North Dakota law, the charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. The case has now been filed in Cass County District Court.
